Following confirmation from Prudential Portfolio Management Group that Matthew Williams, lead fund manager on the Prudential Dynamic Portfolios, is to leave the business, we are removing 'Recommended' rating for the range. Whilst we acknowledge that the philosophy and process at Prudential is very much built on a team based approach, Mr Williams has had flexibility and discretion to take material positions within the risk budget relative to the group's central view, a factor we believe to have been meaningful in determining the funds' performance. We understand the process to find a replacement for Mr Williams is currently underway and we intend to continue to monitor the funds and to review the situation once a successor is in place.
