Square Mile Brings Fund Management to Life with Talking Factsheets

Square Mile Investment Consulting & Research (Square Mile) announces the launch of Talking Factsheets, a new service for users of the Square Mile Academy of Funds, combining Square Mile's independent, qualitative fund research with accessible video content. The Talking Factsheets will feature Square Mile's team of analysts reviewing the objectives and risks and giving their view of funds drawn from their Rated, Recommended and Positive Prospects lists.

Videos will be hosted on Square Mile's Academy of Funds website, embedded within fund factsheets providing an easy-to-access resource for intermediaries. In addition, these videos will be included within a Square Mile newsletter, circulated to some 14,000 financial advisers and displayed on the website of Portfolio Adviser, the monthly magazine dedicated to the wealth management and financial advisory industry.

BNY Mellon Investment Management is one of the first investment management businesses whose funds will feature Talking Factsheets. The Newton Asian Income, Newton Global Higher Income and Newton Real Return funds will be presented on video by Square Mile's analysts, giving advisers and financial institutions their views on fund characteristics and expected outcomes to offer further depth to their research and help them make informed decisions.

Mark James, client relationships director at Square Mile, said, "Factsheets continue to be a fundamental element of the research process for financial and investment advisers and video content is a hugely popular means of delivering succinct fund analysis. The introduction of Talking Factsheets which combine the two, creates another medium for users of the Square Mile Academy of Funds to complement more traditional communication channels, helping them make informed investment decisions on their clients' behalf. Editorially, the videos will be entirely independent, giving financial advisers the benefit of Square Mile's verdict on funds on the Rated, Recommended and Positive Prospects lists."
