Square Mile Investment Research (Square Mile), the expanding research and consulting company, announces the appointments of Jason Broomer, as Head of Investment and Marianne Weller, as an analyst.

Jason will work with Richard Romer-Lee and the team to build Square Mile’s research capability, and he will also be responsible for portfolio construction, fund manager selection and the blending of funds to meet individual client requirements.

A qualified ASIP and an Associate of the CFA Society of the UK, Jason joins Square Mile from Butterfield Bank, the largest independent bank in Bermuda, where he was portfolio manager for five years. Prior to this he worked for Bentley Capital, a discretionary investment firm acting on behalf of high net worth individuals.

Marianne Weller joins from Morningstar OBSR. She is an analyst and fixed income specialist.
