Square Mile Investment Research (Square Mile), the newly formed research and consulting company, announces the appointment of Mark James as a founding investor and director responsible for client relationships.

Mark will join the team at the beginning of January 2014, and will be responsible for Client Relationships and Business Development. He will oversee day-to-day client relationships with Zurich following the appointment of Square Mile to manage a new Zurich intermediary platform proposition, providing enhanced investment solutions for the intermediary market.

Mark was previously director at Concise Solutions, providing consultancy services across a broad spectrum of the financial services industry, a position he held since 2010. Prior to this, he worked at Investec Asset Management as UK sales director. He has also held positions at NU Life, General Accident and Legal & General.
