In response to the recent announcement that Leigh Harrison will retire from Columbia Threadneedle at the end of June 2016, Square Mile have not made any changes to their ratings of the Threadneedle UK Equity or Threadneedle UK Equity Income funds.

We acknowledge Mr Harrison's contribution to the overall success of the UK desk's product range and wish him a long and healthy retirement. We see Richard Colwell as a more than capable successor as head of the UK equity team and do not believe the funds under our coverage will be materially impacted as a result of this change.
