We are very pleased to introduce both the Old Mutual Global Equity and Old Mutual North America Equity into our Academy both as an A rating. These are, in general, managed in a different manner to many peers, with a reliance upon a systematic investment process that uses rules and risk controls to make trading decisions in a methodical way. This can mean that certain behavioural biases are removed and allows the team to be fairly dispassionate about where the portfolio is invested. Ultimately, what we like here is the fund management team who, importantly for a strategy such as this, have been, and are willing, to allow the investment process to evolve over time."
