Following a prolonged period of review Square Mile has taken the decision to remove the MFS Meridian UK Equity Fund's A rating with immediate effect. There are a range of contributory factors, but primarily the removal has been driven by its corner stone investors becoming ever more concentrated, a lack of access to the fund manager and us losing conviction in the fund's ability to meet its performance objective.
