We are pleased to introduce the Dodge & Cox Global Stock fund to the Academy of Funds with an A rating.

This is a strategy managed by a firm that may be less well known in the UK and Europe, but which is a highly regarded organisation in the US, with a history dating back to 1930. Whilst this fund was launched in May 2008 (with a UCITS launch in 2009), it is an additional strategy to the firm's pre-existing equity range, US (1965) and International ex US (2001) funds, drawing upon the same investment ethos and established analyst resource. The emphasis is very much on in house fundamental stock analysis with a strict valuation discipline and long term investment horizons. Overall, in our opinion the firm deserves greater recognition by UK investors, as they have added significant value through active management in global equity markets and we believe that, over a full market cycle, investors should be well rewarded on a risk-adjusted basis.
