Following our recent review of the Asian sector, we have taken the difficult decision to remove the M&G Asian fund's A rating. Whilst the strategy has a number of attractive features, such as its sensible approach to investing in this region, we have some concerns about the fund's ability to consistently meet its performance objectives. We believe the process is better suited to a broader set of companies and as such we continue to rate the Emerging Markets strategy within our Academy of Funds.
