Following the news that Chris Burvill, the long-standing manager of the Henderson Cautious Managed fund is taking an extended period of leave for medical reasons, we have taken the decision to suspend the fund's AA rating. In Chris's absence, the fund will continue to be managed by Stephen Payne. We do not expect there to be a significant departure from Chris's well established and consistently applied investment approach but will obtain a full update on the fund and the implications of his absence at our next review meeting.
