Aberdeen Standard Investments have announced a number of changes to their UK equities desk. Karen McKellar, manager of the Standard Life Investments UK Equity High Income fund, has decided to retire, whilst Henry Flockhart, manager of the Standard Life Investments UK Equity High Alpha fund, and support services and real estate analyst, Adam McInally, have left the business.

Despite these changes, we believe the team remains appropriately resourced and comprises of 15 investment professionals. Consequently, we are not taking any action regarding our ratings of the Standard Life Investments UK Equity Unconstrained fund and Standard Life Investments UK Equity Income Unconstrained fund (both A rated) and Standard Life Investments UK Smaller Companies fund, which retains its AAA rating - all three funds remain the responsibility of their incumbent managers, Wes McCoy, Thomas Moore and Harry Nimmo, respectively.
