Square Mile Investment Consulting and Research (Square Mile) confirms the appointment of Steve Kenny as Commercial Director. In this new role, Steve will have overall responsibility for distribution and will work with the company's other directors and executive management committee to devise and implement the strategy for the next stage of the business's development.

Steve was previously Director of European Wholesale at Kames Capital where he worked between 2002 and 2018 and has over 30 years' financial services experience. While at Kames Capital, he developed and delivered the strategy for the company's expansion across European and UK markets. Prior to this, he held roles as Head of Business Development at Britannic Asset Management and Senior National Account Manager at Britannia Life.

Steve's appointment follows that of John Lester as Business Development Director, who joined Square Mile from Investec Asset Management in January of this year.
