Following a recent review of the BNY Mellon Real Return fund we have decided to reintroduce the fund into the Academy of Funds with an A rating. This follows the fund being suspended in August 2019 after the announcement that Newton veteran, Iain Stewart, was to retire at the end of the year. The reinstatement reflects our view that we believe the fund remains in capable hands and continues to be co-managed by Suzanne Hutchins, Andy Warwick and Aaron Pataki with focus and a determination to meet the fund’s long-term objectives.
