Square Mile has further boosted its 20-strong Research and Consulting team with the appointment of Charlie McCann as Investment Research Analyst. Charlie will work closely with the wider team to maintain the Academy of Funds, Square Mile's universe of rated investment vehicles, as well as helping to identify and research new ideas for consideration. He will also be involved in the delivery of our consultancy services to clients.

Charlie has seven years' industry experience and joins Square Mile from NLP Financial Management where, as an investment analyst, he was responsible for maintaining model portfolios for discretionary clients. This saw him assist in making strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions to help ensure portfolios met clients' expected outcomes. Charlie is experienced in researching multiple asset classes and his particular focus on sustainable investing supported the launch of sustainable models for the firm.

A graduate in Economics and Politics from the University of East Anglia, Charlie has passed the CFA Level 1 qualification and holds the Investment Management Certificate.
