Behind the Screens: Companies funding their growth

17 Nov, 2023 | Return|

“What is really important are the financial characteristics that we look for and the very strong governance and ESG characteristics. In terms of finances, we like strong margins, strong cashflows, we like businesses companies than can fund their growth. That naturally leads to overweight positions in certain sectors. Lindsay Scott, part of the team that runs the AA-Rated BNY Mellon Long Term Global Equity fund, joined us this week to discuss their underlying growth trajectory and the interesting areas they are allocating capital to. Lindsay continues by sharing why they aren’t focused on the headline technology drivers, but rather the supply chains of these business, and where they are finding value and diversification.
